What is Content Marketing?
We live in times of sensory overload, every day we are exposed to around 30,000 advertising messages. Offline, many people know how to protect themselves of too much advertising, for example with the sticker "No Ads, please" on their letterbox. This corresponds online to the Adblocker or the an “Unfollow” of persons or companies on social media. Successful content marketing appeals to its target group with informative, advisory and entertaining content. Google rates this type of content positively and makes it easier to be found. This increases your visibility on the net and you can position yourself as an opinion leader. This makes you a competent problem solver, enhances your reputation and ultimately leads to new and more satisfied customers and more sales.
What is curated content?
The term "curation" has long been known from the art scene and describes the targeted selection and combination of exhibits. For some years now, it has also been used for editorial selection processes: the bundling of articles in the form of an commented link collection. The first projects of this kind were launched almost 20 years ago, such as the "Perlentaucher" project for the collection of "cultural" links in 1999. Today, curating is becoming increasingly important. Traditional newspaper brands are losing importance for daily news delivery, also the news landscape has become confusing through blogs, social media or corporate publishing. So experts can and must assume responsability and provide a news-selection in order to counteract fake news.

So is Scope a new mailchimp or a better Argus?
No, Scope is not a pure mailing tool like Mailchimp, but also not a pure content aggregator like Argus, the Swiss market leader. Scope can do both - and much more. Our software can be integrated into practically any existing environment (CMS, newsletter tool, CRM, etc.). It also finds the best content and enables dispatch and publication on all existing channels.
